The department of zoology was established in this prestigious institution in the year 1996 with biochemistry and medical lab technology as other option of the group with a sanctioned strength of students, the CBZ Course (chemistry, botany, zoology ) was introduced in the year 2000 in place of MLT As per the instructions of commissionerate of higher education, Hyderabad, the post graduate programme in zoology as introduced from the year 2006 the department has a well equipped laboratory with modern instruments . The department is enriched with learning resourses such as a charts, slides, spotters , specimens and models which helps the students in self learning.Department of zoology also have vermicompost unit live models on ecosystem of fresh water marine,desert.the reasearch knowledge also implemented in studies to the students by visiting conservation park zoological parks krishi vignana Kendra etc… department having qualified and experienced faculty.
