Our college’s Department of Micro Biology was established in 1999. This department offers a B.Sc. (MBBCC) programme on a combination of subjects, including, microbiology, biochemistry and chemistry. The curriculum of this course is designed to cover a wide variety of topics, from the basics to advanced concepts and recent techniques in the respective fields. Departmental activity involves in teaching of various branches of Micro Biology which includes medical, molecular, industrial, agricultural, immunological fields that the students have a firm understanding and hands-on experience with the most recent approaches.

    The department hosts an array of major Micro Biology laboratory which include; Immunology, Serology, Aerobic bacteriology, Antimicrobial testing, Anaerobic bacteriology, Mycobacteriology, Mycology, Molecular biology practical’s for the students. 

   The department boasts devoted academics and staff as well as first-rate facilities with large classrooms, a variety of ICT tools, and well-stocked laboratories. In addition to general theoretical classes, the teaching-learning process revolves around project work, guest lectures, student seminars, workshops, group discussion, field work, and industrial visits. The department’s alumni held a number of influential positions in reputed pharmaceutical companies, Diagnostic labs and higher educational institutes all over the world.
