ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The department of MATHEMATICS was established in the year 1996 , Offering B.Sc (Mathematics) course under UG program affiliated to Andhra university and offering M.Sc (Pure mathematics) course under PG program affiliated to A.U since 2002.
The department of mathematics has been striving in teaching of undergraduate and post graduate levels in a diverse range of mathematical topics for B.Sc & M.Sc students.
VISION
Together, we will engage in research, teaching, and learning that furthers understanding in a variety of mathematical fields and contributes to the current developments in the sciences. This is how we intend to grow our intellectually vibrant community of students and teachers.
MISSION
- To educate our undergraduate and graduate students with the perspective and skills necessary to use mathematical concepts and techniques in a wide range of professions.
- To identify, train, and support students who have a passion for mathematics and to give them a supportive environment that encourages intellectual development.
- To prepare and motivate students for research studies in mathematics and related fields.
- To develop and apply new theories of Mathematics to solve a broad variety of problems involving Mathematics.
