Scholarships

Chaitanya Degree & PG college for women are dedicated to providing our students with every opportunity to succeed in their academic journey. In line with this commitment , we offer government and institutional scholarships to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate students of our college.

Government scholarships:

Government scholarships includes jagananna vidhya deevena and  vasathi deevena that were launched by the government of Andhra pradesh with the objective of providing financial assistance to students from economically weaker sections to pursue higher education in private and government colleges.

Under these schemes ,the state government provides financial assistance to cover the entire fee amount including tuition fees, special fees and examination fees for students studying in government aided and private colleges.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a resident of Andhra pradesh
  • The applicant should belong to a family with an annual income of less than 2.5 lakhs
  • Th applicant must not have a wet land of more than 3 acres and own house not more than 900 square feet
  • The family of the applicant must not own a four wheeler
  • Any member of the family should not pay income tax
  • The applicant must be pursuing a course in government ,aided or private college in AP
  • The applicant must have a minimum attendance of 75% at the end of each semester

Institutional Scholarships: 

At our college ,we recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication of our students.We offer a range of scholarships in the form of freeships and fee concessions to deserving and meritorious students.These scholarships serve as a token of our appreciation and aim to encourage our students to pursue their academic goals with enthusiasm and passion.

Merit Scholarships provided by our institution are as follows

  • 100% fee concession for the students who secured 10/10 grade points in previous studies.
  • 50 % fee concession for the students who secured 9/10 & 9.8 /10 grade points.
  • 25% fee concession for the students who secured 9.7/10 & 9.6/10 grade points.

 We also offer fee concessions for deserving students from economically weaker sections to ensure financial constraints do not limit access to quality education.
