PROGRAMME NAME: B.Sc( Maths, Physics, Chemistry)

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

PO 1: Knowledge: Able to Apply the knowledge of Physical . Chemical Science and Mathematics for the attainment of solutions to the problems that come across in our day-to- day activities.

PO 2:Critical thinking skills: to develop an ability to apply, analyze, recognize and evaluate inferential skills and distinguish logical assumption from different perspectives that allow making decisions on the basis of experiential evidence

PO3: Problem Solving: Identify and analyze the problem and formulate solutions by using the principles of mathematics and able to analyze and interpret concepts from a variety of methods to analogous situations.

PO 4: Communication: Able to Communicate the fundamental and advanced concepts of concerned disciplines in written and oral form and able to make effective use of information technology relevant to the discipline.

PO 5: Ethics: Students develop ethical values and contribute to nation building as responsible citizens.

PO 6:Social interaction and sustainability: Students develop empathy towards the societal needs and are able to contribute sustainable development and gain knowledge and skill to understand and solve environmental issues and problems

PO 7: Understanding of career prospects: Able to develop an understanding of Higher Education in the relevant discipline , research and other areas of entrepreneurship or preparing for relevant competitive examinations leading to employment.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

 PSO 1: Understand the theoretical concepts of physical and chemical properties of materials and the role of mathematics in dealing with them in a quantitative way.

PSO 2: To understand the interdisciplinary nature of mathematics and to integrate knowledge of Physics , Chemistry and other disciplines to a wide variety of Mathematical problems and also create interest towards the area of research.

PSO 3: Analyze the concepts of mathematics, physics and chemistry and understand the relation among them like physical chemistry, mathematical modeling of physics and chemistry problems..

PSO 4: Ability to interlink the skills and knowledge in mathematics, physics and chemistry and develop an aptitude to address the problems in biophysics, stock market analysis
