PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES

 

PSO 1: Provides a comprehensive knowledge about the interactions between the bio molecules, intermediary metabolic pathways, energy production and metabolic disorders.

PSO2: Introduce the importance of diet, its sources and deficiency diseases.

PSO 3: Gives ample knowledge about the Human physiology, clinical manifestation of diseases and diagnostic tools.

PSO 4: Explains thoroughly about the defense mechanisms against infectious diseases, structure and functions of various bio molecules involved in it and their application in pharmaceutical industries and healthcare sectors.

PSO 5: Provides hands on experience on collection of blood and different specimens, its processing according to the requirement, safety regulations, Complete Blood Count, biochemical estimation of various bio molecules (like glucose, cholesterol, hemoglobin etc.,) and interpreting the results on the basis of reference values.

PSO 6: Introduces organization of clinical and immunological laboratories, instrumentation, automation and the importance of quality control parameters in clinical biochemistry.

PSO 7: Gives knowledge about various hormones and their role in maintaining the homeostasis of the cell.

PSO 8: Explains the mechanisms of central dogma of the cell and application of this basic understanding in our daily life.
