PROGRAMME NAME: B.Sc (Chemistry, Botany, Zoology) 

PROGRAM OUTCOMES

PO1 : Explain the basic concepts, fundamental principles, and the scientific theories related to Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany and apply the scientific phenomenon and their relevance to day-to-day life.

PO2 : Demonstrate proficiency in the experimental techniques and methods of analysis appropriate for their area of specialization within biology.

PO3 : Acquire knowledge and information on identification of various plants and animals. On successful completion of the programme the students entrained with the concepts of classical zoology including the diversity of life forms the origin of life and different ecological concepts.

PO4 : Entrepreneurial skills are incorporated into their learning process. Team work and individual efforts are encouraged among students that make them competent for the work place.

PO5 : Apply the information and comprehension of Science to one’s own life and for their career opportunities. Centering to plan for higher studies and advance research in frontier areas of Science.

PO6 : Access the primary literature, identify relevant works for a particular topic, and evaluate the scientific content of these works.

PO7 : Review the scientific literature and understand the research work going on in Basic Sciences.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC OUTCOMES 

PSO 1 :     Figure out the utilizations of Biological sciences and Chemical sciences.

PSO 2 : Foster knowledge and work on logical, correspondence and expert abilities.

PSO 3 : Acquire knowledge about science and technology.

PSO 4 : It will also enable the students to formulate testable hypotheses, gather and analyze data as a part of their project work.

PSO 5 : Students will be able to demonstrate critical and analytical thinking, experiential         learning and communicative skills.
