About Alumni

Alumni Engagement:

The Chaitanya Alumni welfare association is a non profit registered society, under the Andhra Pradesh societies Registration Act 2001, bearing the Registration No: 669 of 2022. The association is dedicated to bringing together the alumni committee on a common platform to build another channel of personal and professional support to members through self help within the community that contributes significantly to the development of the institution through networking events, career counseling services and fund raising campaigns

Vision:

Our vision is to build a strong and connected community of alumni who are committed to the welfare of college and its students through volunteering, mentoring and fund raising through our work, we aim to support the college’s mission of providing a high quality education and ensure the students of future generations have access to the resources and support they need to succeed.

Mission:

To advocate for the interests and needs of alumni and to support the college’s efforts to provide a high quality education and positive student experience through guidance, support and advice to current students for building their professional networks and develop the skills they need to succeed by offering expertise and insights through guest lectures and workshops by alumni.

Objectives:

  • To foster a strong and active community of graduates who are engaged with the college and its mission.
  • To provide a range of opportunities and resources to students through alumni including networking events, mentorship programs and career counselling services.
  • Aims to support the college’s initiatives and programs through fund raising campaigns and other forms of philanthropy.
  • To enhance the reputation of the college, promote the success of its alumni and strength the bond between graduates and the college community.

 

Functions:

  • Organizes networking events for Alumni to connect with college and current students.
  • Organizes reunions to bring alumni together and celebrate their achievements.
  • The Alumni association mentors current students and new graduates, providing them with guidance and support.
  • Champions all relevant fund raising activities to the development of the college.
  • Maintains regular contact with alumni and former faculty through various e-mail groups and social networking sites such as Facebook.
  • Organizes various departmental meets for strengthening and widening of alumni welfare association.
