PHYSICAL COMPETENCE

Physical competence is a process of developing the strength of women and gain control over their physical actions to accomplish various activities more skilfully and easily.

Self-defence training classes undertaken, this teaches life saving techniques and self-protection mechanisms to promote physical fitness, Instil courage and confidence which makes our students self-reliant.

We include regular physical activity, outdoor and indoor games for enhancing creativity and foster cognitive growth.

EMOTIONAL STEADINESS

 Emotional development is a student’s ability to express, recognise one’s own emotions and successful interactions, adjust to their environment, pay attention on how to behave, social awareness,  responsible decision making and relationship building through self- control . We organize various motivational sessions, webinars and seminars for emotional development of students.  Regular visits to Old Age homes and orphanages to develop sensitivity towards senior citizens and less privileged. 

INTELLECTUAL PROGRESSION

 Cognitive or intellectual development is characterized in our institution through development of language, memory, critical thinking skills, problem solving, imagination and perception.

For bolstering intellectual growth, the college has recruited well qualified teaching faculty and implemented ICT enabled teaching to churn out intellectually sharp graduates and post graduates.

Guest Lectures, National seminar, International seminar, Workshops, Group Discussions are organized by various departments to transfer information which enriches the reservoir of knowledge of students.

Access to a well-stocked library with internet facility, e-learning sources, journals, periodicals has enabled them to achieve extensive academic growth.

CRT (Campus Recruitment Training) program is exclusively designed for the students in order to make them ready for placements; it is implemented through external renowned experts for grooming the students in different modules like aptitude test, group discussions, reasoning and interviews.

Educational trips, Industrial visits are used as tools for optimizing concept development and promoting experimental, practical learning among students.

Our results in the past subsequent years have been fairly good and some of our meritorious students clinched Andhra University Ranks, Prathiba Awards in recognition of their consistent hard work.

CAREER GUIDANCE & COUSELLING sessions are provided to our students periodically.

ETHICAL EVOLUTION

We try to stimulate ethical conduct   by ingraining values like compassion, love for tradition and culture, honesty, and nationalism through various activities and lectures by inviting inspiring and admiring personalities.

   A Value based Course related to HUMAN VALUES AND PROFESSIONAL ETHICS is offered to the students along with display of motivational quotes in the campus.

SOCIAL ENGAGEMENT

The students are motivated to take up social service through NSS and NCC Outreach programmes, volunteering for a noble cause, Awareness Rallies, Medical camps, Vaccination Drives, Blood Donation Camps, SwachtaAbhiyan, and Plantation Drives enabling students to be socially responsible.

The cultural component of the student’s personality is sharpened by exposing them to various co -curricular activities. The students have been grabbing prizes in various national, state levels and inter college competitions.   Organizing multifarious competitions like Dance, Drawing, Poster-making,  Rangoli, Essay Writing, Elocution, Best Use of Waste, food fests , etc. to foster their creativity.

Mindfulness plays an important role in many aspects of women’s life; it includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being.

Quotidian practice of reciting SARASWATHI VANDANAM, VINAYAKA MANTRA, GURU POOJA.YOGA, MEDITATION CLASSES and MENTALHEALTH AWARENESS programs by eminent personalities are the regular course of procedure and are a means of arousing spiritual feeling among our young minds and creating a pious ambience in the college.
