ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Chaitanya Degree and PG college for Women Popularly regarded as one of the best women’s Colleges in Gajuwaka, Vishakhapatnam Established in the year1996. The department of English also grew along with institution having expert teachers for moulding the students as per the present trends.
English department Comprises of dedicated faculty who work very rigid towards the principle of working at their best for creating young minds.
The Department of English takes the responsibility of all the U.G Courses namely BSC,B COM and BBA
The Department Takes every necessary step to abide the curriculam perspectives and is more focused on the practical approach of teaching English subject in an upgraded manner to suit the present environment.

VISION
To develop an inclusive classroom atmosphere for the students to acquire practical command of English with a lot scope to understand, read write and communicate well in English, using the tools of communication skills.
To mould the students into better individuals with vivid knowledge of themselves paving a way for good communicative platforms.
MISSION
To ensure development of cognitive language physical and social skills required to succeed in practical communication with respect to the diversity in their class as well as the society.
To encourage the young minds to become an inspiring and empowering force for their lives so that they learn the art of living proving themselves on the humanitarian grounds.
The aim of teaching English in India is to help students to acquire practical command of English that is Students should be able to understand English ,speak English, read and write English.
